Appointments/Cancellations / Missed Appointment Policy

Appointments not cancelled or missed create lost opportunity for us to help other patients. We ask that you make every effort possible to keep your scheduled appointment and to arrive on time, at least 15 minutes before your appointment.

However, we do understand that there may be instances that may prevent you from keeping your appointment. We ask that you give us at least 24 hours notice of cancellation or reschedule.

It is our policy to charge for missed appointments. Unless scheduled patients call to reschedule or cancel their appointment 24 hours before their scheduled time, a $50.0 (for well visit) or $25.00 (for sick visit) “no show fee” will be charged to all patients who do not show up for their appointment. eMedical Associates reserves to change these fees without notice.

Arriving late for appointments disrupts other schedules appointments and prevents you from receiving the quality medical care you deserve. It also encroaches into other patients' schedule appointment time - especially when they come on time. Therefore, to eliminate your wait time, please consider checking in through our PATIENTS PORTAL.
